Wild white wilderness

A robin's red breast stands out in the snow.
At this time of year even he has no foe,
Except, that is, the cold wind and frost
Devouring so harshly precious breadcrumbs he's lost
In a wild white wilderness that chills all men.
Yes, Christmas time is here again.
